Sierra Heart Institute's mission is to foster the development of a
comprehensive, integrated approach to the provision of cardiac care services
and programs in our service area.

Sierra Heart Institute is a simple, stand alone corporation and a separate
entity of Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates. Although Sierra Heart
Institute (SHI) is not in the business of providing medical care to
patients, SHI is organized and operated for the purpose of developing and
marketing a specialized program for the provision of comprehensive cardiac
services to residents of Northern Nevada and Northeastern and Eastern
California. This includes underserved communities in both states.
SHI meets significant community medical needs and public interests through
the marketing and promotion of its cardiovascular care programs in its
service area. SHI is dedicated to the improvement of cardiovascular
care through active programs of professional and public education, sharing
its expertise and resources with medical and lay communities throughout the
region.
