Dr. Arger earned his undergraduate

David M. Baker, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Baker earned his undergraduate

Nebraska.
He completed both a medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at
Oregon
Health & Science University
in Portland, Oregon
and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the

Dr.
Baker's professional interests include preventive cardiology,
echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and all invasive/non-interventional
cardiology. Dr. Baker joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in April
2006.

Chad M. Bidart, M.D.
Dr. Bidart earned his undergraduate
degree at the

of Nevada, Reno,
and his medical degree from the

of Nevada,
School of
Medicine, Reno,
Nevada.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, as well as a fellowship
in cardiovascular disease at the Mayo Clinic
Arizona.
Dr. Bidart recently joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates after
completing a one-year fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the
University
of California, Los
Angeles,
California.
Dr.
Bidart was born in
Reno and
raised in Winnemucca and is pleased to be back home.
His particular interests focus on cardiac electrophysiology and his
primary professional goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care
to his patients.

Frank P. Carrea, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Carrea earned his undergraduate

Dr. Carrea has practiced cardiology in

since 1992 and joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in 2001. He is a

Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the

of Nevada, Reno.
Dr. Carrea's
professional interests include complex lipid management, interventional
cardiology (angioplasty and coronary stents), cardiac pacing and ICD

Challapalli, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Challapalli earned his undergraduate

Sridevi Challapalli, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Challapalli earned her undergraduate

Basil E. Chryssos, M.D., F.A.C.C.,

Dr. Chryssos earned his undergraduate

Mexico

Chryssos professional interests are pacemaker implantations, cardiac caths

is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Cardiology at Touro University
Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Eric M. Drummer,
M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Drummer earned his undergraduate

in Cleveland, Ohio
and was graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in
Bronx,
New York.
He completed both a medical internship and residency in internal medicine at
Montefiore

Center in Bronx

Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr.
Drummers professional interests include interventional cardiology
(angioplasty, stents), treatments of arrhythmias, pacemakers, and AICDs. He
has practiced cardiology in the

area since 1986. He is a Fellow of the

Dr. Fuller earned his undergraduate

Dr.
Fullers professional interests include treatment of peripheral arterial

Fuller is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the

Candace
M. McNulty, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. McNulty earned her undergraduate
degree at
Indiana
State
University
and was graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She
completed her training in internal medicine and fellowship in clinical
cardiology, and served as Chief Resident at Emory University Hospitals in
Atlanta,
Georgia.
She completed research training in cardiology at
Harvard
Medical
School
in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr.
McNulty joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in August 1993,
relocating from
Rhode Island
where she was an Associate Professor in Medicine and Program Director of the
Cardiology Fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine and Memorial
Hospital of Rhode Island. She is a Fellow of the
American
College of
Cardiology.

Michael J. Newmark,
M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Newmark earned his undergraduate
degree at
Rutgers
University in New
Brunswick,
New Jersey
and was graduated from medical school at the University of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. He completed a medical internship at
Montefiore
Hospital in
Pittsburgh.
He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology
at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr.
Newmark was instrumental in bringing coronary angioplasty to
Northern Nevada and was the first physician to perform
directional coronary atherectomy in
Northern Nevada. He also started the first cardiac rehab center
in
Northern Nevada.
His professional interests include interventional cardiology techniques
including complex coronary stenting, new gene therapeutics for growth of new
vessels, and treatment of acute coronary syndromes. Dr. Newmark has
practiced cardiology in the
Reno
area since 1977. He is a Fellow of the
American
College of
Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention. In 1999
Dr. Newmark passed the American Board of Internal Medicine, added
qualifications in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Newmark also serves as the
President for
Sierra Heart Institute and the Medical
Director for Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates Cardiac Catheterization
Laboratory, LLP.

Tom Nylk, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Nylk was graduated from the
Integrated College and Medical School, Medical University of Gdansk, Poland
after which he served there as a Staff Physician in the Department of
Cardiology for a period of five years.
He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at
Huron
Hospital in the Cleveland Clinical Health Care System,
Cleveland, Ohio
and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the
Louisiana
State
University
Health
Sciences
Center in
Shreveport,
Louisiana.
Prior to joining Sierra Nevada
Cardiology Associates in August 2007, Dr. Nylk served as a staff physician
in the department of cardiology at the VA Medical Center at
Mather, California
(since July 2003). He also
served as an Associate Clinical Professor, Division of Cardiology,

of California-Davis,
Sacramento,
California
(since April 2004). Dr. Nylk is
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine-Internal Medicine;
American Board of Internal Medicine-Subspecialty in Cardiovascular Disease
and is a Fellow of the
American
College of Cardiology. He has also
passed the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Exam, an
examination of special competency in cardiac pacing and cardioversion/defibrillation.
His professional interests include clinical cardiology, diagnostic
catheterizations, heart rhythm management and echocardiography.

Velisar L. Rill, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr.
Rill earned his undergraduate degree at the

Bucharest,
Romania and
was graduated from the University of Medicine & Pharmacy "Carol Davila",
Bucharest,
Romania. He
completed his residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine, Bronx, New York and a cardiology fellowship at St.
Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University College of Physicians
& Surgeons, New York. Dr. Rill completed interventional cardiology training
at NYU School of Medicine, New York.
Dr. Rill joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in November, 2003. He is
board certified in cardiovascular disease and passed the American Board of
Internal Medicine, added qualifications in Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Rill also passed the American Board of Internal Medicine, added
qualifications in nuclear medicine.

Joseph P. Stevenson, D.O., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Stevenson earned his undergraduate
degree at Southern Illinois University in

and was graduated from the
